Canada's answer to the Texan pop culture zoo that is South By South West, the good folks at North By NorthEast are responsible for bringing some of today's hottest bands this side of the border. Fans of rock and roll excess are going to have their appetites for destruction satisfied by performances from Iggy & The Stooges, Mudhoney and the Icarus Line, followers of Canadian rock will be pleased to see Jim Cuddy, Holly McNarland, Buck 65 and Sloan take the stage, but like any major festival, there are just too many acts for any one human being to catch.
